KARMA COMA
My experiences of being a single parent dad / dealing with sociopaths.
I am fifteen years into a female-to-male domestic abuse relationship from the mother of my son.
She is diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
She is aggressive, competitive and has threatened me with violence for zero provocation.
She waves the ‘misogynistic male oppressing vulnerable female’ flag to get away with abusing me, knowing she gets away with it. My protests and concerns are rebranded as offensive behaviour toward her.
She is Parental Alienation Syndrome which has negatively affected my son and myself. She brainwashes and depresses him.
My ex: “Keep men ground down, they’re easier to control.”
My son: “All I want is for my parents to stop arguing and to get on with each other.”
My psychiatrist in 2016, 2018, 2020: “Go zero contact on your ex.”
My counsellor in 2022: “Go zero contact on your ex.”
My therapist in 2024: “Go zero contact on your ex.”
Me: “It’s not always easy to go zero contact with somebody because of life situations.”
I have been seeing mental health professionals for my having diagnosis of High Functioning Autism comorbid with cPTSD.
Me: “It’s only a matter of time before she does something serious, which will have negative consequences on my son and on myself.”
My ex: “When he says things like that it’s depressing and misogynistic. Can you see what I am having to put up with here?”
Social Services in 2023: “We can’t have you going zero contact. You will have to do better than that.”
Which resulted in my ex escalating the drama to involve CID to investigate false allegations.
In 2024 my ex took an overdose of a cocktail of prescription drugs, mixed with over the counter drugs, mixed with vodka.
My son discovered her in a coma covered in vomit and excrement when he went to ask if she could get some food in because he was hungry.
She had a stroke. Surgeons removed two blood clots from her brain. She has starting to talk although she has only basic function of one arm enough to write legibly half the time. She cannot walk.
My son: “I expected something like this would happen because of her lifestyle.”
Me: “I have been trying for several years to get the authorities to understand my concern that she needs more care than she has been getting because of her mental health issues and how this has affected my sons well-being.
She told the same authorities I am trying to control her life by repressing her because she does not want any support.
Now this has happened I have asked the authorities to recognise why I was so concerned about her was not a case of a man repressing a woman but rather a man concerned about his sons well-being and the state his mothers mental health.
The authorities reaction has been to close the case, remove my son’s name from the child protection register, give me full residency of my son indefinitely.
The authorities have not commented on their previous stance of backing the mother entirely by telling the father to stop complaining about her and whitewashing all the evidence presented indicating her behaviour is ‘a significant risk of harm to self and others’".
My Therapist: “You should feel validated.”
The Universe: “Karma is a thing, y’all.”
